Quite a nice place, no cockroaches as some have stated, we had a king size room and it was well taken care of. We came in the winter so not many people were in the rooms near by, the walls are medium to thin so you can hear coughing and talking from time to time. The stay was for three weeks so we got to experience the best and worst of the location. Despite what Google says there aren't any kitchens in any of the rooms, they have a mini fridge and microwave. The water is a little hard, if you have a water filter it helps. Our ZERO water filter meter gives 650 when we tested. The WiFi is shared on a single Router without VLAN isolation so if there are malicious users they CAN sniff your data so stay safe. On average the speed is 9Mbps down and 9.5Mbps up with about 5 drop outs per day. Unfortunately, they didn't have any non-smoking rooms available so we bombed ours with incense to mask the smell. I'm giving it a 4/5 because every machine in the room makes a horribly loud noise. Bring earplugs because the fridge, A/C, Microwave, and Air vent in the bathroom rattle terribly when used. The noise they generate does help cover the sound coming from the interstate near by. There are many tractor trailers that go by because of the truck stop so they work like a white noise generator. The TV mount and table legs were loose but we had a wrench to tighten them up so no problem there. There are many power outlets available but half of them are used by something so a power strip or extension cord will help. The beds are extremely firm so if that is an issue bring a memory foam cover. You get what you pay for and for $300 a week there's not much to complain about.

This little hotel is a gem. My husband I stayed one night to attend a concert at Black Bear Casino. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed, comfy bed, nice pillows, TV, microwave and mini fridge. You cannot beat it for the price. it's nice to pull up with your vehicle and your room is right there for convenience and easy access. We opened the door and enjoyed the sunny day. Thank you!

Very affordable, clean spacious rooms, comfortable bed, incredibly helpful and friendly staff in a great location! We absolutely LOVED our 3 night stay here and we WILL be returning!!!! So glad my parents recommended Royal Pine Inn to us after their stay there!

My husband and I stayed here one night to see a concert at the Casino nearby. This is our second time and you can't beat it for the price. The rooms are clean, with a nice bathroom, hot shower, fridge, comfy bed and pillows, tv and quiet.

This place is so great wounderful. We are from St.cloud mn and i have never been to Duluth it was a late night heading home on our bike and we needed a place and they got us in at a cheap price mary is the one that help us get the room. They didn't come wake us amy the housekeeper was wounderful we walk in to a nice clean smell good room amy cleaned are room before we came in. Don't ever let those to workers go Mary and Amy wounderful people we most definitely will be returning back to this one.

Black bear casino owns the hotels on 210 in addition to their own. If your looking for a smoking room this is the only hotel that allows it. If you have pets this would also be the only hotel. Reserve the room at the casino and get your keys there. I was met by a lady 2 doors down when I pulled up to my door she had her very large dog tied up in the grass area he was barking and she informed me id have to put my window up and stay in the car so she could bring the dog into her room. She then told me she owns everything on 210 that I can see because she's a band member. Very pleasant. The price is very decent the rooms are run down looking but for the price it's good. Quick trip is right across the road for food drinks etc.

Excellent!!! I can't say enough good about this motel. For a small motel it offers a lot of the little extras that you usually only find in larger facilities such as iron and ironing board, fridge, microwave, shampoo, etc. Very very clean and very comfortable beds. I love that it is pet friendly as well. The prices are fantastic!! The area is nice and it's close to Duluth and Jay Cook park. Planning on returning whenever we are in the area.
